Summer of 2007
I have on occasion been able to reach the
bottom of my heart for an emotion to define the
character of a song. I have been able to feel deep love
for certain people and to share the fruits of that love.
I've led an extraordinary/ordinary life. By most
standards, I've "made it" in the music business. I will
always be deeply grateful for those years of music and
madness.
Today I sit in intensive Care at Scottsdale Healthcare,
a state of the art hospital facility where the combined
skills, compassion and technologies and prayers of
thousands of people from around the world were converged
on me as I lay dying from a massive heart attack. My
kidneys had failed, the prognosis was not good, and I
was in a world of hurt. I believe that my current state
of recovery can be laid at the feet of every one of you
people out there, who showed the tremendous outpouring
of love for me and to me in a time of deepest need. My
left arm and hand are completely useless, but doctors
tell me that with occupational therapy, I should be able
to be back playing guitar again.
As much as you've loved me and cared for me, I love and
care for you right back, from the bottom of my heart.

APRIL 1ST
I did a seminar
for the National Association of Independent
Recording Professionals here in Phoenix on the 6th of
March. I generally hate talking about myself, but
Tess Taylor did an outstanding job of tossing up
questions as moderator and the audience seemed genuinely
interested in what I had to say. So it went rather well
and I survived.
Wensday’s CD is
in full release and starting to get some attention from
radio and
press. It’s a slow build on any new record so I remain
patient and vigilant and hopeful of course.
Wensday’s street
team is doing a remarkable job touting her Torch Rock
CD. On blogs & MySpace and the videos are up on YouTube
and Google
Video and Yahoo Video also. And... we’ve assembled a
band for live appearances. We hope to have a tour
booked for her soon. Check her out...she’s a great
singer. Start with the CD, Torch Rock and then see her
live. I’ll probably be playing guitar for her first
time around.
I love producing
records, but I’m not so sure about being on a management
team. Thankfully I have experienced and focused
partners, Suzy Michelson and Alex Cyrell. They do
the majority of managing and I mostly advise. Nice work
if you can get it.

UPDATE
Sorry to
be so out of touch my friends, but I have truly been so
immersed in the writing and production
of Wensday's CD that I literally have had no time to
attend to other business.
....And that really is the news for December.
Wensday's CD..."Torch Rock".
Including the definitive version of "Only Women Bleed".
Done as a real statement of empowerment from a woman's
perspective. You will love this song all over
again with Wensday's rendition.
I guarantee it!
Wensday makes her debut performance December 16th At Alice
Cooper's Christmas Pudding.
This is Alice's annual charity concert to benefit The
Solid Rock Foundation For Children. It's a huge event
here in Phoenix and is a real opportunity to be seen and
heard by over 5000 people!
Most of whom are the real movers and shakers in this
Valley of the sun.
I am playing guitar and looking like the old guy that I
am, standing next to the young "other" girl next door.
I can't wait.

SEPTEMBER
UPDATE
I've
been too busy to write, but here I am at last. Please
feel free to dialog with me via the guestbook on this
site or at MySpace. I'll be checking in everyday I can
and revealing all that's in my dark little heart...kinda
like my book, which is finished and in the hands of my
publicist who is presenting it to several publishers.
If they all turn me down, I will publish and sell it
myself on the internet. Aren't you just vibrating with
anticipation??
Too busy to
write...well, I've spent two weeks in LA meeting with
substantial people in the business and setting up a team
of believers to build Miss Wensday's career. Suzy
Michelson (My Business Partner) and myself made contact
with some really brilliant and successful people and we
are ready for the next faze....recording the second half
of Wensday's CD...starting October 16 here in Phoenix.
My favorite thing to do...did I ever tell you how much I
love record production? A bowl of Cheerios in the
morning, an all day session in the studio, and a re-run
of Deadwood on the tube at night and I am a happy man.
Too busy to
write...well, I also spent a week in Las Vegas working
with Dr. T on the SkinnerRat CD, "You Kill Me". A dark
venture into the life of "Little Rose", an abused child,
plus lots of little rats scurrying around the aural
landscape. I love Dr. T and his coroner / musician
dichotomy. You need to check out the SkinnerRat website
and introduce yourself to the darkness. Lots of fun and
serious genius. Look for another live performance in
Vegas in the not too distant future.
That's all
I have to say right now. Get ready to oust the bums in
November. Every vote counts!! Restore our country, let
freedom ring!!
